Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026

This policy applies to the mobile game Noodle Goal, developed by Nurettin Berke Demirel.

In short

The game needs no account and never asks for anything that identifies you (name, email, phone number). It plays offline. When online, it uses the connection only for what is described below: rewarded ads, iCloud progress sync and Game Center (iPhone), downloading game settings, the online duel and anonymous play statistics you can switch off.

Ads (Google AdMob)

There are no forced ads. When a run ends or you fail a level, you may choose to watch an ad to keep going. These ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may collect from your device: device and advertising identifiers, your IP address and the approximate location it implies, your interaction with the ad (views, taps) and diagnostic information about how the ad performed. Google handles this data under its own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Where the law requires it, such as in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the game shows Google's consent form before requesting any ad. You can change your choice later under Settings → Privacy options. On iPhone the game does not ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency), so your advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared with the game or the ad network.

Stored on your device

Your bests, stars, trophies, looks and settings are kept in a file on your device and in the app's own preferences. That copy is part of your phone's own backup: Google's automatic app backup on Android, iCloud or computer backup on iPhone. Uninstalling the game removes the copy on the device.

iCloud and Game Center (iPhone)

If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress can sync to your other devices using the same Apple ID through Apple's iCloud key-value store. If you are signed in to Game Center, the trophies you earn and your free-play best are sent to Game Center and may be visible to your friends depending on your Game Center settings. This data is covered by Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy. The developer does not see it.

Game settings

When it starts, the game downloads a small settings file from noodlegoal.com (for example a longer clock for a level players find too hard). The request carries nothing about you; like any website visit, the server sees your IP address for the connection and does not keep it.

Anonymous play statistics

To improve the game we count which levels are started, how many stars they end with and how often a second chance is used. Each record holds only the event (for example "level 4-3 finished with 2 stars"), the app version, platform and language. No player, device or advertising id and no IP address is stored; the server keeps daily totals only. You can switch this off under Settings → Share stats.

Online duel

To match you with another player in the duel, the game sends our server (Cloudflare) the nickname it made up for you (for example "WIGGLE42"), your league and league points, and your snake's look and hat; during the match only your snake's steering, a time-out or giving up, and the match's check values pass between the two phones. They go to your opponent only and are not stored on the server. There is no chat or messaging, and you never type the nickname. While connected your IP address is seen by Cloudflare's network; we do not keep it. When nobody is found the game plays you against the bot, offline.

Reminders and sharing

If you turn on the daily reminder on the missions page or in Settings, the game sets an evening reminder with your phone's own notification system; no server is involved and you can turn it off at any time. The Share button opens your phone's share sheet; you decide what to share and with whom, and the game sends nothing on its own.

Permissions

On Android the game uses the vibration permission for a short tap on goals and at the end of a run, the internet, network state and advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) permissions for ads, and the notification permission only if you turn on reminders. You can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads on your phone. It asks for no location, camera, microphone, contacts or photo access.

Children

The game is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date.
